Some bad news for Albertans looking for help to ease their ailing joints. Albertans will now have to cover 100 percent of any type of chiropractic care themselves. As for those who don't regularly see a chiropractor --- they're not necessarily out of the woods, either. Alberta Health minister Ron Liepert is looking for more ways to slash costs in his department --- and that could mean further healthcare cuts are on the way. Scott Cunningham has local reaction.

The majority of Haiti's terrain consists of mountains. But the topography doesn't change the thousands of children living in rural areas looking for an education. Lifeline Haiti chooses the location of a school by starting in an urban centre and moving out towards the need. The key is making sure children in rural schools have the same access to a quality education as children in the city. Here is part 2 of our special series from Haiti

It's an age-old question - how much of a difference can one person make? That was the exact question on the mind of a local man when he took on the task of educating children in the poor Caribbean nation of Haiti. Bob Davisson began the not for profit organization LifeLine Haiti in January of 2006 with one school and 81 students. Today it's grown to 23 schools and over 3000 children. But while the project has made significant strides, it's now facing the difficult task of battling not only the immense need in Haiti, but a struggling economy here in Canada. Rylee Carlson had the opportunity to follow Davisson to Haiti and capture his work on video.
