Look up - way up. That is what officials in the Cypress Hills park want people to do this weekend. The park in Medicine Hat's back yard is celebrating the fascinating world of astronomy over the next few days -- in a place renowned for clear and dark skies.  Reporter Scott Cunningham caught up with a local man who spends countless hours peering into the heavens. And it's a place just outside of Medicine Hat.

For a soldier, it is considered the ultimate sacrifice -- losing your life in battle.  Exactly one year ago --  a Medicine Hat man did just that for our country. Today, there was no memorial held to remember Sapper Stock, but for those close to the young man, his memory wasn't far from their thoughts or hearts.  Just like his sacrifice was on the minds of those in the community.  Reporter Kyle Bakx has the story.

They're cleaner, greener and are now cruising Medicine Hat streets.  The city has purchased half a dozen fuel-efficient hybrids as part of their large fleet of vehicles. And as Kyle Bakx reports -- while the city is going green  -- the aim is to save a different kind of green, at the same time.

Net-i-zens beware. City police tell us they've seen a stark increase in the number of internet fraud cases coming through their doors this summer. Officers say unbelievable deals on sites like Kajiji and Craigs List have been just that for several local web surfers.
