Vicious Dogs December 18, 2009	Man's best friend is becoming a major foe to some in Medicine Hat. City officials are fast tracking a plan to combat a growing number of aggressive dog incidents in 2009. But as Scott Cunningham reports, the seventy seven complaints this year, and six charges in November alone has those in dog parks blaming man - not his best friend.

They were nursing sisters. Thousands of women answered the call of duty during the Second World war. On the 65th anniversary of Canada's efforts in liberating Italy -- we bring you the story of one of the nursing sisters. Here's reporter Kyle Bakx in Italy.
Ecole Les Cypres December 16, 2009	Some parents are anxiously wondering where their children will go to school next year. As part of a massive reconfiguration vote last week, the Catholic Board of Education chose to end a lease agreement with Southern Alberta's Francophone board. The deal not only affects hundreds of Catholic students, but catches one school particularly off guard. As it stands, Medicine Hat's only entirely francophone school--has no building for next September. Jeremy Hunka reports.

Bomb Threat Follow December 16, 2009	A hoax is causing some very real problems for police. One week after the Medicine Hat College was shocked by a bomb threat, city police say they are stalled in their investigation. Thousands of students were forced from their final exams last Wednesday. However as Scott Cunningham discovered the disruption was not exclusive to Medicine Hat nor in causing headaches for law enforcement .
Vikedal Sentenced December 15, 2009	A guilty plea did not save a Medicine Hat man from jail time. 26 year old Kevin Vikedal will spend less than 4 years in prison for an assault on a toddler that has left the child with permanent damage. Scott Cunningham has the latest.

In part two, reporter Kyle Bakx takes us to the key battleground of Ortona. That's where over two thousand Canadian soldiers were either killed or wounded, including one from Medicine Hat.

Copenhagen Renner December 14, 2009	Talking green has many world leaders taking aim at Alberta. Medicine Hats MLA, and Alberta's environment minister Rob Renner says he will be a marked man when he arrives in Copenhagen this week. Minister Renner is currently in Amsterdam speaking to industry leaders about carbon capture technology. Though the long time Conservative MLA admits he is fully aware of what awaits him at the UN conference on climate change. Scott Cunningham has more.
