It will make your prescription drugs cheaper, but some pharmacists warn it will put them out of business altogether. The government will soon finalize phase 2 of its "Alberta Pharmaceutical Strategy", meant to save Albertan's money.  But as Jeremy Hunka reports, it may end up costing rural alberta, more than just dollars and cents.

Crib Recall

The largest crib recall in North American history is being met with frustration. Drop-side cribs made by Stork Craft have been attributed to four child deaths in the U.S. and numerous other injuries. Now, many parents say they are un-able to get through to the Vancouver-area manufacturer.
As Ina Sidhu reports, that includes one local mom who has been waiting months for a repair kit.

It's a chronic and debilitating condition, with more than nine-thousand new cases diagnosed every year in Canada. November is Crohn's and Colitis awareness month, drawing attention to Inflammatory Bowel Disease, affecting 200-thousand men, women and children in our country. As Ina Sidhu reports, with very little known about what causes the disease, a local family has jumped at the opportunity to help find a cure that could benefit a loved one.
