Afghan Ants

Local scientists have come up with a very unique idea on how to de-activate land mines.  Researchers at DRDC Suffield say insects in Afghanistan, could be used to neutralize entire minefields .  Sound far-fetched?  Well as Jeremy Hunka reports an army of ants could one day be enlisted in the Canadian military--and they have video to prove it.

Crestwood Elementary was bustling today, as the entire school took the morning off from classes for a real-life lesson in living with a disability. As Ina Sidhu reports, its the fourth year in a row a local organizing committee and dozens of volunteers have brought the celebration of "International Day of Persons with Disabilities" to a Medicine Hat school.
