Transit Unveiling

"Come Ride with Us" is Medicine Hat Transit's new slogan, unveiled officially today with their new fleet of buses. Sweeping changes have taken place over the last year and as Rylee Carlson reports, they aren't only going over well with officials, riders are pleased as well. |
Biking in City

Keeping cyclists safer on our streets was the main reason why the city introduced bike lanes in Medicine Hat last year. Since then, there's been a push to expand the project, with little progress.This afternoon a city committee approved establishing at least one more bike lane near the College, with optimism for more. Reporter Kyle Bakx has the story. .

Yoga and Cancer

In southeastern Alberta one in every two citizens will develop some type of cancer in their life time, and one in four will die from the disease. However with new medications, radiation, and chemotherapy cancer clinics in the province are seeing thousands living longer lives with the illness. Scott Cunningham spent time today with a group of individuals in our city who are moving away from invasive treatments and sometimes harsh drugs to keep cancer survivors on the recovery trail. |
