Another Grow Op Busted October 1, 2009	Police across Southern Alberta have seized over 4-million dollars worth of marijuana, cash and property. Two grow-ops, both within an hour's drive from Medicine hat, were raided, resulting in multiple arrests. Authorities say the grow-ops are highly complex and well-financed. The properties were in the Medicine Hat area, but as Kyle Bakx reports, the illegal activity originates from Calgary.
Hidden Reality Part Two September 30, 2009	They're considered basic necessities , but life without shelter, food, and water is all too common for some people in Medicine Hat. And the homeless population is growing in our city. Tonight, We continue our two-part series examining homelessness. Reporter Scott Cunningham takes a look at support systems in our city, and how they have given one man a second chance at life.
Hidden Reality Part One September 29, 2009	The reality of life without shelter, without food, and without the security most in Medicine Hat are afforded every day is a issue facing more individuals than ever. Current statistics peg Alberta's homeless population at more than 85 hundred people, and show that if programs aimed at combating homelessness are not ushered in quickly those numbers could skyrocket to more than 21 thousand in ten year's time. The issue of life on the streets is not one exclusive to major centers as numbers confirm a steady flow of clients through emergency shelters and increasing pressure on social programs in Medicine Hat. Reporter Scott Cunningham now with his first of two installments on the state of homelessness in our community.
Mayhew Dead September 28, 2009	The man who killed his daughter in Medicine Hat 12 years ago -- has been found dead in his prison cell. 51 year old Gerald Mayhew's body was discovered Sunday afternoon. He had been serving a life sentence for the second degree murder of his fifteen year old daughter, Amber Dickson, in 1997. And as Kyle Bakx reports, the death of Mayhew, has finally brought some closure for Amber's mother.
