Day of Mourning

There are heavy hearts in our city as many mark the national day of mourning for workers killed on the job. There was added significance to this morning's ceremony in Medicine Hat. Less than 6 months ago --- a local man was killed, while performing maintenance work at the hospital. As Kyle Bakx reports, it is another workplace accident, that some say, could have been prevented.

The idea of building a new arena for Medicine Hat has hit another roadblock. Council members held a meeting where they decided against pursuing some new funding models that have been pitched. There was no official vote, but aldermen couldn't come up with an agreement. So where does the project stand now? Reporter Kyle Bakx finds the answer.
