When a fundraiser becomes an annual event, the goal year after year -- is to become bigger and better.  The Kinsmen club has done just that with the Home Lotto.  This year's house is the most expensive that they've ever given away. Diabetes Walk

Diabetes is a condition that impairs the body's ability to use food properly and this weekend Hatters are encouraged to walk to find a cure. The "Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation" is hosting its annual fundraising event Saturday in an effort to raise awareness of the disease that currently affects two million Canadians. Sleep Deprivation

It can often be a challenge to get a full night's sleep -- but new research out of Britain may encourage you to make it a priority. The study reveals people who get less than six hours of sleep per night, have an increased risk of dying prematurely. In fact - those who "hit the sack" for less than that were 12 percent more likely to die early. Local experts are weighing in on just how important it is to catch enough z's.
