Medican Protection May 28, 2010	A giant in the home construction industry in Western Canada is seeking shelter. The Medican group of companies based in Medicine Hat has gone under creditor protection. Just this week the multi-million dollar corporation made the motion in a Calgary court, and was granted their wish. But what now? What of the employees under the Medican umbrella, and recent large scale residential developments slated for our city's southwest? Scott Cunningham has more on this developing story.
LED Signs May 28, 2010	A new wave of advertising is spreading throughout the city -- and you may have noticed this with more and more flashy signs popping up. Currently businesses have to apply for a development permit through the city to set up L-E-D boards - but no bylaws are in place. As Ina Sidhu reports, the city is looking at amping up the rules -- as some say the bright lights are a distraction.
Tyrell 25 May 28, 2010	In the heart of the badlands sits a world-renowned attraction. The Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller is a tourist hotbed and a field trip favourite for students. This year the museum and research centre is celebrating a milestone. It was 25 years ago that the dinosaurs took over Drumheller. Reporter Kyle Bakx has the story.
Home Erosion May 27, 2010	A Redcliff couples dream of a quiet retirement is slipping away - literally. Five kilometers west of our city Gary and Joy Groves are fighting a losing battle with Mother Nature. Erosion is threatening to swallow their home, and their dreams of running a successful bed and breakfast. After a year of searching for help from local and provincial government the couple says they are running out of options. Scott Cunningham has more.
Population Projections May 26, 2010	Statistic's Canada has dusted off it's crystal ball, and released a study that predicts our countrys population 26 years from now. StatsCan has pegged immigration as the main contributor, but says the emergence of a much older, grayer population will be the greatest change we will see. Scott Cunningham explains.
Medicine Hat Choir May 26, 2010	The Medicine Hat College Girls choir has made quite the accomplishment. They will be representing all of Alberta at a unique festival. Jesse Beyer caught up with the girls to find out more.
Monarch Money May 26, 2010	The city centre development agency has had a rollercoaster ride since it purchased the Monarch theatre in 2008. The latest issue is escalating debt, into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. City officials are now discussing ways to assist the historic downtown theatre, and help it keep the projector rolling. Building Permits May 25, 2010	After the housing construction industry stalled in 2009, there is new optimism that 2010 will be an improvement. New statistics show building permits for new homes have swelled in the first quarter of this year. But as Kyle Bakx tells us, many in the business remain cautious.
