City OT July 8, 2010	A city on high alert. Since the water first rose, and relief efforts kicked into high gear, it seems politicians have been the one's dominating headlines. But who is really behind the hardest work when disaster strikes? Scott Cunningham sits down with a group of workers who rarely get on the front page.
Flood Politicians July 8, 2010	Whether their reasons are valid or not, 3 different heads of government are still coming under heavy fire. The mayor, the premier, and now the prime minister are all being criticized for not being present in our region--when flood victims say, they needed them the most. Reporter Kyle Bakx has the story.
Irvine Recovery Centre July 7, 2010	Less than 24 hours after the premier announced a record-level of relief funding for flood victims -- recovery centres opened their doors this morning. The expectation was that the centres would be overwhelmed, with disaster-stricken residents looking for their share of the over 200-million dollars in relief cash. But in Medicine Hat, that just was not the case. Just east of the city, doors opened on the Irvine recovery centre to a much different response. Those in the region hardest hit by June flooding wasted little time in trying to get their piece of the Alberta government's 200 million in recovery cash. Scott Cunningham was in Irvine, and files this report.
Coulee Collapse July 7, 2010	Here in the Hat - the ground remains soggy - it's a reality that hit home late yesterday afternoon, when a coulee wall near Allowance avenue broke free-- sending earth and debris crashing into a creek below. The mass of soil then acted as a dam, forcing water into Medicine Hat's hardest hit areas. Scott Cunningham was on scene, and files this report.
Echodale Returns July 7, 2010	Just in time for summer, things are finally turning around for Echo Dale Farm. For the past two years a lack of volunteers has prevented Echo Dale from keeping animals that have become a popular attraction for children and families. Breanna Karstens-Smith reports.
Police Loss July 6, 2010	The Medicine Hat Police Service is mourning the loss of one of its own. Yesterday, a member described as a loving father, husband and son lost his battle with cancer. Ina Sidhu has the story.
Summer Games Again July 6, 2010	Starting tomorrow top athletes from across southern Alberta will converge on the city of Brooks and following last night's city council meeting many of those same athletes will be headed here in one years time. City council passed a motion that will invite the forty second Southern Alberta Summer games to Medicine Hat. And while officials say events like this boost the economy and civic pride, Scott Cunningham reports that officials did not always welcome the idea of hosting the games.
Samaritan's Purse July 5, 2010	THE FLOOD WATERS HAVE LONG RECEEDED IN OUR REGION, BUT THE DAMAGING EFFECTS ARE STILL BE FELT BY MANY RESIDENTS. WITH MANY HOMES STILL A MESS WITH SOGGY DEBRIS, THE CANADIAN BRANCH OF AN INTERNATIONAL RELIEF ORGANIZATION IS HERE TO HELP. INA SIDHU REPORTS.
Brooks Rebirth July 5, 2010	New life for newborns in the city of Brooks. Today Alberta Health Services announced the re-birth of obstetric care in the rural centre. Back in January of 2009 expecting mothers were sent to Medicine Hat or even Calgary to bring their children into the world. A lack of trained physicians caused the city to halt obstetric care, though with new doctors recruited, some officials say the most difficult task lies ahead. Scott Cunningham has more.
