Rodeo Clown

With roping, barrel racing, and bronc riding the rodeo is always entertaining. This year the Stampede has brought in an extra special act from the States. The Coppertown Clown has brought his humour and his furry friends to our city to amuse exhibition goers. Breanna Karstens-Smith has a backstage look at his show and what it takes to be a rodeo entertainer.

Flood Cheques

The premier arrived in Medicine Hat this morning, for the start of a two day visit to the Gas City.  Tomorrow he'll begin taking in the Stampede and officially kick off the rodeo.  But today was reserved for once again touring flood affected properties.  Which could be timely --- because as reporter Kyle Bakx tells us --- a month and a half after the flood occured, thousands of people are still left waiting for promised compensation

Police admit their investigation will continue for months.  Officers released some of their findings thus far, including how the baby girl died and who else was in the day home at the time. Reporter Kyle Bakx has those details.

Toddler Autopsy

Less than a week after a 19 month old Medicine Hat girl died in a Calgary hospital, a day home worker charged in her death is out of police custody. This morning 24 year old Erin Jackman was granted bail only a day after charges against her were upgraded to manslaughter, and failing to provide the necessities of life. Scott Cunningham has the latest on this developing story.
