Medicine Hat Fire officials say almost 40 households have already applied for disaster support in our city--- and more are expected to do so. Up to 120 mms of rain is still expected for Medicine Hat, and "high stream flow advisories" have been issued for all streams originating in the Cypress Hills. It's the third major rainstorm to hit our region in less than 2 months. Kyle Bakx reports. |

United Nurse of Alberta rep's are fanning out across the province today, delivering news from lengthy contract negotiations in Edmonton. Alberta health services, and the union who represent more than twenty four thousand registered nurse have been in contract talks since March. But just yesterday had a break through -with both sides agreeing on terms that will be voted on later this month.
