This week chat news has covered the devastating floods from almost every angle.  We've shown you rescues, relief efforts, and rebuilding.  But a lingering question remains "Why?".  Why was the flooding such a surprise, why was everyone caught off guard , why didn't we see it coming. Officials have pegged damages at more than forty million dollars with in the city, since flood waters caused havoc across our region just days ago. June 22, 2010

THE WATERS ARE BEGINNING TO DROP . IT WAS GOOD NEWS FOR THE CITY, THEY WERE FINALLY ABLE TO GET INTO AFFECTED AREAS TO SURVEY THE FLOOD DAMAGE WITHOUT THE THREAT OF MORE RAIN.
