It took three weeks of testimony and 11 hours of deliberation, but a Calgary jury convicted Jeremy Steinke of first degree murder in the deaths of 3 members of a Medicine Hat family.

Stats Canada has released some new numbers that indicate less Canadians are living and working on farms than ever before. According to the report - there are 70 percent fewer farms in this country now - than 75 years ago. But as Scott Cunningham tells us -a pair of local conferences tell a very different story on the state of the agriculture industry in southern Alberta.
