Christmas Giving December 18, 2008	As the economy continues to tighten in Alberta, charities and non profit organizations are feeling the squeeze. Many agencies rely on the Christmas season for the majority of their funding. Many campaigns still have a few days left before they're over -- but they're on pace to fall short of their goal. And as reporter Kyle Bakx found out, the organizations on the front lines, helping those in need, are feeling the effects.
Council Attendance December 17, 2008	City council has wrapped up for the year. The last meeting for 2008 was held this past Monday. All too often, those meetings featured vacant seats. So we've compiled a report card on who was or wasn't at the majority of council meetings this year. And as reporter Kyle Bakx tells us, only one alderman had a flawless attendance record.
Winter Safety December 17, 2008	It was another day of poor weather and equally dismal driving conditions --- and that has alot of people worrying about their safety heading into the holidays. Scott Cunningham gets the low down on staying safe from someone who sees the accidents all too often.

THE HAT HIGH KWAHOMIES ARE TWO GAMES IN TO THEIR YOUNG SEASON AND LIKE OTHER YEARS GIVE SOME PLAYERS DOUBLE DUTY, PLAYING THEM ON BOTH THE JUNIOR AND SENIOR SQUADS. THERE'S ONE YOUNG LADY WHO IS DOING EXACTLY THAT AND DOING PRETTY WELL AT IT. AND SHE'S STARTING TO MAKE SOMEWHAT OF A NAME FOR HERSELF. Christmas Break and Enter December 16, 2008	The Daniels family of Medicine Hat have had a tough year. Dallas, the father had been fighting cancer for some time and last year had his leg amputated in hopes of curing the disease. The amputation was unsuccessful, and sadly just last Monday Dallas slipped away, leaving his wife and two daughters behind. This is is when the community stepped in . Reporter Scott Cunningham was lucky enough to witness what could only be called a christmas miracle Sunday.
Steinke Sentenced December 15, 2008	After a local family was brutally slain in April of 2006, it took investigators under 48 hours to put the two co-accused behind bars. Two and a half years later, Jeremy Steinke has been found guilty on all three counts of first degree murder in deaths of Marc, Debra and eight year old Jacob Richardson. Monday the final chapter in Steinke's trial was written when a judge sentenced Jeremy Steinke to life in prison --- with no chance of parole for at least 25 years. Rylee Carlson explains.
