Water Shortage?

There are concerns over the future water supply for our city.  The province has announced a quarter million dollars will go towards promoting water conservation in the province.  It's news that is re-opening debate about the state of water in Medicine Hat.  While some provincial officials don't see future water shortage problems -- local politicians fear if changes don't happen soon -- there may by a population cap put on the city.  Kyle Bakx explains.

Jeremy Steinke Trial Day 9

After 9 days and almost 50 witnesses, Crown Prosecutor Ramona Robins has rested her case against 25 year old Jeremy Steinke. Steinke stands accused of killing three members of the Richardson family back in April of 2006. Rylee Carlson reports.

Monarch Reborn

A campaign to renovate and rejuvenate one of our city's oldest buildings began Thursday evening.  The City Centre Development Agency is upgrading the historic Monarch Theatre -- for an opening later this year.  The CCDA used Midnight Madness festivities to kick start their fundraising drive.  And as reporter Kyle Bakx tells us the project has many local residents reliving memories of the past.

Wednesday marked day eight of testimony in the trial of a local man accused of three counts of first degree murder. Jeremy Steinke stands charged with killing Marc and Debra Richardson and their eight year old son Jacob back in April of 2006. As Rylee Carlson reports from Calgary , jurors heard from a parade of people who knew the accused.
